Washington Press -- Built in 1870 by the Cincinnati Type Foundry, this Washington Press was used to print The Pulaski Citizen before the turn of the century.
Prior to being restored in the fall of 1990, the press was in storage more than 50 years at the Citizen office.
100 years ago, it was a common press, used for the printing of newspapers, books and posters.
Invented in 1827 by Samuel Rust, such pressess were manufactured well into the 20th century, but are rare today.
Challenge Guillotine Cutter --This cutter originally shipped to Tennessee from Chicago, IL in 1905. It was purchased by the Romine family for the commercial printing operation at the Pulaski Citizen.
Originally built in June 20, 1911 for R.F. Black in Minor Hill, TN, this fully operational National cash register is the first thing you see when you enter our offices. The register was restored in the early 1990's by James Coleman.
1902 Chandler & Price Craftsman Press -- Manufactured by the Chandler & Price Company,Cleveland, OH, this 1902 Crafsman press was one of the first presses used when Holley's Printing opened its doors in 1961.
