Pre-printed postal indicias, whether they are Holley's Printing indicias or your own indicia,
require a release to be signed and kept on file. This release shows that you understand the following guidelines and will be responsible for first class postage costs for any pieces not included in the mailing prepared by Holley's and delivered by either us or you to the post office.
Postage paid to either Holley's Printing or the United States Postal Service (USPS) is only good for the actual pieces on the mailing list supplied.
The quantity mailed is found on the postage statement supplied to you when we process and mail your material.
Since there is typically an amount that is printed "over" the mailing list quantity left over after the mailing is finalized, you may have additional pieces that bear the indicia delivered or shipped to you. POSTAGE HAS NOT BEEN PAID ON THESE ADDITIONAL PIECES.
These pieces must have a FIRST CLASS STAMP applied OVER the pre-printed indicia for them to qualify for mailing.
The pre-printed incidia and postage fees paid are only applicable for the pieces that are prepared for the USPS in trays, bundles, etc.
FOR EXAMPLE:
If we are printing 1100 auction brochures and your mailing list has 850 names and you'd like what's left over to leave in different locations for the public to pick up, you will end up with approximately 250 brochures with a pre-printed postal indicia that postage has not been paid on.
If you decide to mail any of the 250 brochures to any one after the mailing has been completed, you must put that brochure in an envelope and mail it with a first class postage stamp OR apply a first class postage stamp OVER THE PRE-PRINTED INDICIA.
